SNK delayed 100 percent hand-drawn fighting game The King of Fighters XII. The game was originally slated for a July 16 launch, then moved to a vague "July release".
The new street date for the multi-platform game is July 30.
The reason for the delay was so SNK could polish the title before finally releasing the arcade game on home consoles. KoFXII was released in Japanese arcades last April.

The King of Fighters XII is being published by Ignition in North America, and the company has dated the game simply as a summer release.
