The Fantastic Mr. Star Fox Takes A Look Deep Inside Himself

"I've been flying through silver rings for 18 years, and I never once stopped to ask why." When Nintendo's classic space shooter meets visionary director Wes Anderson, The Fantastic Mr. Star Fox is born. And then he questions his existence.

Wes Anderson's stop-motion animation adaptation of Roald Dahl's The Fantastic Mr. Fox ranks as one of my favorite films of the past decade. Star Fox is one of the most beloved video game characters of all time. Bring them together, and you've got something amazingly depressing.

I don't want an intergalactic hero that constantly seeks to qualify and quantify his existence. I just want him to shoot space bad guys until they explode.

Still, props to the folks at College Humor for coming up with this adorably absurd idea.
