So, two years ago, little Katie Goldman was bullied at school because she was a girl who had a Star Wars drink bottle. It was a sad tale then, one which resulted in an outpouring of support for Katie, but nothing then could match the gift she got for this Halloween.
The 501st Legion, a worldwide Star Wars cosplay group, commissioned and presented Katie with her own custom, fitted Stormtrooper armour. It's as realistic as it can be; aside from the scale, it was made based off plans used for Stormtrooper armour from the original film trilogy.
She got it for $5 (for "parts"), on the condition that when she outgrew it she'd return it to the 501st so it could be used for charity.
In other words, everybody wins. Especially Katie, who has the coolest Halloween costume of all time.
