Despite Nintendo’s various warnings, I very much doubt the 3DS will cause spontaneous bleeding from the player’s eye sockets. Impassioned Nintendo loyalty speeches, on the other hand, are a sure thing.

If the Nintendo 3DS did wind up damaging a player’s eyes irreparably, I would hope it did so with Ark of the Covenant-level eye melting special effects. I’d hate to think things would just slowly become blurry over a period of hours. I want to feel like I’m living a Scanners movie.
I never realized how much the 3DS looks like the original “phat” DS. The Busted Pixel has truly opened my eyes, and then stabbed them with hot pokers.
