The 3DS follow-up game to Sonic Boom has been delayed by Sega Originally slated for this year, Sonic Boom: Fire & Ice is now looking at a 2016 release instead. The team apparently needs the extra time to apply a little more polish to the game for a “a stronger, more enjoyable experience.”
