The Mona Lisa might be a masterpiece, but that hairdo is so dated! That's perhaps why a Chinese net user decided to give Lisa del Giocondo the hair style of a Chinese college student.

Online in China, commenters were impressed with the new 'do. "Woah, she's so beautiful!" wrote one commenter, while in neighboring Japan, the revamped Mona Lisa was compared to famous Japanese models and idols.

Does this really deserves a article here on Kotaku? i have seen dozens of Mona Lisa "updates" better than that one made by anonymous artists all over the internetz, so what's so special about this one?
