The glimpses below offer a look at new protagonists Rhys and Fiona, as well as already known Borderlands vault hunters like Zero. So far, Tales of the Borderlands' art style looks like a nicely detailed hybrid of both Telltale and Gearbox's visual approaches. The game's due out this summer for multiple platforms.

Arai-the fly on the wall

Never played Borderlands, but I like games with heavy story involved, and I like ALL Telltales forte so far. Might like to look into this one sometime in the future.

But I wonder if I need to play the previous entry to get up to date with this one (though I really doubt I have the time to ever do so). So I'd like to ask how's Borderlands story compared to other games like Fallout / Mass Effect / Monkey Island (love some humor now and then)?
