The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ got its final booster pack update today. Live on Steam and set to come to PS4 sometime in the future, Booster Pack #5 adds items, enemies, and a boss as well as a completely new character. There’s also an extensive list of bug fixes and other small teaks.
March’s Mod Booster for The Binding of Isaac Afterbirth+ on PC is now live. Creator Edmund McMillen is curating monthly packages to integrate fan creations. This month’s includes new items, hairstyles, and even cards from Magic The Gathering. Another one is planned for April, “but who the fuck knows,” McMillen wrote.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth, a major expansion for the game that adds tons of new areas and items, hits PS4 on May 10 for $10.99. It’s supposed to arrive on the same day for Xbox One, as well. No word yet on a Vita version.
The Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth+ is coming sometime in 2016, according to the game’s publisher, bringing official mod support, a bestiary, and more. The game’s latest expansion, Afterbirth, only launched a few weeks back. It’s unclear if this update will cost any money, but the game’s gotten lots of free updates.
