Rather than releasing on Tuesday in North America, the PC release of No Man’s Sky is now a global Friday, August 12. Hello Games’ Sean Murray announced the date via Twitter this evening, adding “It’s so important we get it right and make the best version we can.”

“Yay! We finally settled with Sky (they own the word “Sky”). We can call our game No Man’s Sky. 3 years of secret stupid legal nonsense over.” Hello Games’ Sean Murray via Twitter yesterday, celebrating not having to change his game’s name to No Man’s One or something.
