Hitman’s Elusive Targets are reactivated, beginning today with The Forger. You can’t replay targets you’ve completed or failed, which means I’ll never get a do-over on my Forger run.

John Wick creator Derek Kolstad is writing the pilot script for a Hitman series for Hulu and Fox 21. Kolstad is also executive producing. No word how is starring or when the show will starting filming. 

Hitman’s next Elusive Target is The Entertainer, coming to the Bonus Mission of Marrakesh for 10 days starting July 14. The blog post says it’s “the final Elusive Target to be released for the first season of Hitman,” so we’ll see what happens next. RIP, Targets (Get it? Ah, you get it...).

Hitman’s prologue level, the ICA Facility, is free on PC and consoles starting today. This includes the escalations and challenges, and progress will carry over if you buy the full game.

Even with their future in question, Hitman developer Io Interactive is still adding new content to the game. This months, Hitman will get several new contracts and elusive targets as well as a “game update” that the studio’s being vague about. You can read all the details on their website.

Hitman’s next Elusive Target, The Surgeons, will be available in Hokkaido for 7 days starting February 24. The optional objective, “eliminate both targets using viral infection,” sounds like a lot of fun.

Hitman’s next Elusive Target, The Warlord, will be available in Bangkok for seven days starting on February 10. I just got my roommate into this game and she’s excited to try her first target. I am excited to backseat drive so it isn’t my fault if I mess it up.

Hitman’s January Update release notes are out, which hits on January 31 to coincide with the physical release of the game. The January Update will feature a new difficulty mode, Professional Difficulty, and will make Hitman’s soundtrack and “making of” documentary available for all players.

Hitman gets a third bonus episode, “Landslide,” on January 31st to coincide with the physical release. The mission takes place in Sapienza (yay!) and is free for anyone who owns the complete edition or upgrade pack. Hitman’s 18th Elusive Target, The Chameleon, will be available in Colorado for seven days starting January 13th. This one has special conditions, which I’m sure will make the already difficult Colorado level even harder.

Hitman’s 17th Elusive Target, The Food Critic, will be in Bangkok for 7 days beginning December 30th. I’m guessing by the name there’ll be some poisoning involved...
