Far Cry Primal is now official—it’s set in the prehistoric era and will feature woolly mammoths and sabre-toothed tigers, as we reported yesterday. It’ll be out on February 23, 2016 for Xbox One and PS4, with a PC version to follow.

Ubisoft is conducting a charity drive to draw in more donations for the Nepal Region Earthquake Drive, the company announced today. The developer of Far Cry 4—a shooter set in a region inspired by Nepal—will match up to $100,00 in donations given to the Canadian Red Cross for disaster relief. You can donate here.

Far Cry 4 got its first bit of DLC today, "Escape from Durgesh Prison." It's a timed challenge mode that can be played alone or in co-op (the best way to play Far Cry 4, if you ask me). It also features permadeath, which sounds intriguing. The DLC is available for $10, or as part of the season pass, which is $30.
