BioWare has announced it’s increasing some of the loot drop rates in Anthem in a server-side update today. Missions on Grandmaster 2 and 3 difficulties will now drop more Masterwork and Legendary loot, as will Legendary enemies. The game’s community manager has called the drop rate increases “pretty significant.”

Electronic Arts won’t hold an E3 conference this year. The publisher said in a press release today that it will again hold EA Play in Los Angeles during the weekend before E3, but that the focus of the event will be livestreams and hands-on for players. No more soccer memes and disappointing mobile reveals, sadly.

While Anthem does occasionally shutdown players’ PS4s, it doesn’t appear to be bricking them after all. Instead, players whose consoles become unresponsive have reported being able to get them running again by starting the console in safe mode and rebuilding the data base.
