Destiny 2's next piece of downloadable content is called Warmind, and will be out on May 8. More details to come via stream, as is Bungie’s way. Bungie also plans to change weapon slots and a whole lot of other stuff. Will this be enough to bring you back?

Bungie just delayed Destiny 2's much-anticipated 6v6 Iron Banner due to an issue that caused errors under certain circumstances. Instead of Iron Banner, next week’s featured Crucible playlist will be six-player Rumble.

Bungie has posted the patch notes for today’s big “Go Fast” Destiny 2 update, including a bunch of specific numbers and percentages for all the buffs they’re implementing. It’ll be interesting to see how different the game feels with all this in place.

Bungie has gone into more detail about the 1.1.4 balance patch coming to Destiny 2 on March 27. A bunch of weapon types are getting PvE damage buffs, and several perks (including Kill Clip and Dragonfly) are also getting buffed. Destiny 2 is getting raid armor perks and some other nice tweaks in next week’s patch, all detailed on the weekly Bungie blog update. No massive changes in there, but a couple of good steps toward a more rewarding endgame.

Destiny 2's “The Dawning” event will run from December 19 through January 9. It’ll add a bunch of winter-themed stuff like snowball fights and event-specific milestones, and is also bringing the Mayhem game mode back to the Crucible.
