Super Smash Bros. Wii U will come out November 21 in North America, Nintendo announced today. It'll launch alongside a wave of Nintendo's amiibo toy figures.
This follows the release of the portable version, Smash 3DS, which came out last Friday. The Wii U version will be $60 retail, or $100 as part of a bundle that includes a Wii U GameCube controller adapter and a special Smash-themed GameCube controller.
The first wave of amiibo figures—Skylander-like toys that contain data and can interact with games like Smash and Mario Kart 8—will be Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby and Marth, Nintendo said.
Nintendo's other big fall Wii U game, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, will be out on December 5 in North America, despite recent rumors that it might have been delayed. It'll be $40.
