Aw, I loved this game. And Summer Games II, and Winter Games... and California Games... despite the loading times.
We'd play as a family.

Then we wait 10 mins to load the results.
Then onto the next event.
Rinse and repeat.
Ah. Those were good times. Fun times.
No-one in those days thought of playing family friendly sports games as anything bad. They never used the term "casual" in a derisory way. A computer game was a computer game.
It didn't really matter who won or lost. I was six years old.
