At Comic-Con 2011, Capcom revealed the launch dates for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Online Edition. The game comes to PlayStation Network on Aug. 23, and to Xbox Live Arcade on Aug. 24. Price is $14.99 or 1200 Microsoft Points.
Producer Yoshinori Ono introduced the game with a trailer promising three different visual modes: classic, arcade and widescreen HD; a tournament mode supporting eight players and a trials mode, and replay sharing via YouTube, to include live streaming replays.
