Deus Ex: Human Revolution is coming to life in New York City. Square Enix hired artists from various mediums to put together original works based on Deus Ex: Human Revolution's futuristic setting, dealing with the moral and ethical issues of artificial body augmentation. Each artist will put together one poster style image, inspired by either the pro-augmentation or anti-augmentation factions featured in the game.
Proceeds from the sale of the artwork will be put towards supporting further education in the arts.
Jonathan Jacques-Belletête, art director of Deus Ex: Human revolution, said in a press release that "The art direction in the game is extremely distinctive, with its main elements being a polished blend of cyberpunk flavor and aesthetics from the Renaissance, and super slick contemporary designs such as modern architecture and geometrical art installations."
The art will be on display for two weeks at the Wooster Street Social Club starting July 28.
