Square Enix Is Teasing Something Murderous [UPDATE: It's A Game Called Murdered: Soul Suspect]

I have no idea what Square Enix is teasing, but it's certainly piqued my interest.

A few minutes ago, I got a strange e-mail via a Square Enix press list:

The body of the e-mail was a weird GIF that ended with a strange symbol:



Head over to murdered.com, which Square also teased on some of their social media accounts. Click on the bottom of the website and you'll see platforms: Xbox 360, PS3, PC.

Evan thinks it looks like Condemned, but Sega owns that series, not Square Enix. I've reached out to Square to ask what the deal is, but for now, let the speculation begin. What do you think? Any ideas?

UPDATE: Square has gotten back to us.

Here's what we can confirm: "Murdered: Soul Suspect" is an exciting new game from Square Enix which challenges players to solve possibly the hardest case of all.
