To mark Gravity Rush 2's release, Japanese TV is showing a special Gravity Rush anime from Hideaki Anno’s Studio Khara. Dubbed Gravity Rush The Animation Overture, the trailer looks great.

This one-off anime takes place between the first and second games and will be shown on Christmas night in Japan (no word yet as to if and when the anime will be shown in the West). For those who miss it, the anime will also be included in the game’s initial Japanese retail release.

After a delay, Gravity Rush 2 will finally be out this January on the PS4.

I love Gravity Rush’s Steampunk universe so much. I’m super excited for the sequel, I really hope we get an English sub before it’s January launch.

Also, I wonder if the language in the anime is Japanese or the pseudo-French in the game.
