Queen's Blade is a South Korean developed MMO. The motif is science fiction—and skimpy outfits. No wonder Japanese bulletin board 2ch is already calling it "too sexy" for the game's unabashed fan service.

This Queen's Blade is not to be confused with the Japanese Queen's Blade franchise. It's from Liveplex, the Korean studio behind Dragona Online and features epic player vs. player combat that can reach up to 80 players versus 80 players.

The game is being localized for the West as Scarlet Blade and is going into closed beta.

Website MMOSite has loads of info about Queen's Blade (Scarlet Blade). In the above gallery, you can see the different classes as well as a play movie from the recent G-Star show in South Korea.

I know Japan and Korea will be a totally different ball game but I think probably the rest of the world outside Asia can do without this fan service nonsense. I'm sure I'm not alone here in saying I'm sick of these scantily clad over sexualised women in games.

Even in films I think it's great to get a female character who's not there merely to shack up with the male lead. It's refreshing having 2 characters of opposite sex not end up together and just merely be friends.

And this is all coming from a massive pervert btw.
