Sometimes a company files a patent with the intent of actually making something. Other times, it’s just to put a crazy idea down on paper. This patent from Sony Europe appears to be the latter.
Spotted by serial patent stalkers SIliconera, it shows a toy car. With a camera attached. That makes “vroom vroom” noises and has a microphone. That you can drive using your PSP.
What practical purposes this could have outside of spying on your neighbours pets (or finally bringing real crashes to the Gran Turismo series) is beyond us, but hey, bless SCEE for thinking outside the box.
