The PlayStation Portable gets a lot more attractive starting today if you want to game on the cheap. The same for the PSPgo, which in North America, now includes three free games.
If you purchase a PSPgo within the next year, Sony Computer Entertainment America will throw in a voucher that lets you download LittleBigPlanet, Ratchet and Clank: Size Matters and SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo 3, gratis. According to SCEA, that's an $80 USD value, making the PSPgo financially much more attractive. Sure, Europe may have the better deal, but that's a rare win for the continent.
In good news for cheap-ass owners of the regular PSP, Sony and its third-party publishing pals have dropped the following games to just $9.99 USD, as part of a PSP "Favorites" line. It's the cheaper version of the Greatest Hits segment and features a PSP must-have or two.
- Ape Escape: On the Loose
- Buzz! Master Quiz
- Hot Shots Golf Open Tee
- LocoRoco 2
- Patapon 2
- PixelJunk Monster Deluxe
- SOCOM: Fireteam Bravo
- Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow
- Twisted Metal: Head On
- Justice League Heroes
- Manhunt 2
- Midway Arcade Treasures: Extended Play
- Pinball Hall of Fame: Williams Collection
