I always figured that Tails had the whole breathing thing covered during the underwater sections of the Sonic the Hedgehog games. Apparently I was wrong.
I guess this Dorkly video makes sense. After spending years watching your sidekick die and come back to life over and over again, your regard for his well-being would likely take a backseat to your own.
