Ahh, world maps. I love world maps. And I love world maps in Mario games.

This particular map comes from New Super Mario Bros. U, the Wii U Mario game that will launch alongside Nintendo’s new console on November 18. It’s sort of reminiscent of Super Mario Worldācheck out that ghost ship!āand it’s really interesting. Lots of the old familiar terrain types, like deserts, forests, and snow-covered plains, but they look pretty neat.
(Note: As part of a pre-release restriction on the game, we can only show you thirty seconds of Mario footage at a time, which is why we moved the cursor so fast.)
Expect lots more Wii U coverageāincluding more videos from New Super Mario Bros. Uāin the coming days and weeks.
