Tristan and I were walking the dogs early this morning when we got into the sort of hypothetical, nonsensical conversation that only a father and his young son can get into.
Tristan pointed to the creek by the trail and noted that one of his forts (apparently he has four) was down there. I mentioned that I've noticed that high schoolers sometimes hang out in the wooded ditch and that he should be careful.
"What do you think they do down there?" He asked and then added: "Probably catch snakes."
"I don't think so Tristan, they're in high school."
"Then frogs."
I think I'd like to live in a world where people become more interested in amphibians not less as they grow up.
