Smash Bros. 3DS Copies Sold in Just Three days
With videos of some ludicrously long lines floating around we all knew Smash Bros. for 3DS was selling well, but until Nintendo spoke up earlier today we didn't know quite how well. Counting both digital and retail numbers, Nintendo claims one million copies have sold since the game's Japanese release. Those are sell-through numbers too, meaning that one million customers actually have the game either in or on their 3DS.
That's almost three times the first-week sales of Super Smash Bros. Melee, and 25% more than Brawl sold in its first week... and it's only been a couple of days.
