As I enter week two of Mrs. Bashcraft and Mini-Bash being in America and me being here in Osaka with Micro-Bash, I find myself making more and more “American” food. This afternoon, I made sloppy joes. Yesterday, it was peanut butter and jelly sammiches. Last week, we had Kraft mac and cheese. And we’re eating oatmeal for breakfast. Oatmeal!
Mrs. Bashcraft really likes the food in America, but the first couple of times she went there, she did not like it one bit. Over time, she has gotten used to it and has even come to dig it.
She can’t get into oatmeal, though. No way.
