Sea of Thieves first season begins January 28. The live-service pirate sim announced it was shifting to a more seasonal flow of updates, including adding a battle pass, last month. The new progression path will have free and paid versions.

TL:DR - I’m sick of Battle Passes. I would like the Battle Pass vaccine, please :)
It might just be me, and my battle-weariness, but “Battle Pass” is something that puts a bad taste in my mouth now. I know that they make them “optional”, but they still add their flavor, even when you pick them out of the recipe.
