The Samsung Odyssey G7 (G75F) is a curved gaming monitor. It wraps around your field of vision and delivers detailed, vibrant visuals that pull you into action. There’s plenty to like about it – except one thing – its price.
The 37-inch model retails for $900, which can feel like a lot to spend on a display even when you don’t have a tight budget. Amazon, however, is offering this giant at a 44% discount, which saves you $400 and brings the total down to $500. The lowest we’ve ever seen it go for is $470, and the current price is only $30 more than its all-time low.
Excellent visuals and performance
The 37-inch screen is super spacious. It’s got a ton of room for just about anything; think gaming, streaming your favorite shows, and even multitasking with a few different applications open side-by-side. Plus, since it subtly wraps around your field of vision instead of sitting completely flat, you get a distraction-free, immersive viewing experience.
Picture quality is just as important as the screen size. That part is taken care of with a stunning 4K UHD resolution that brings all scenes to life. All tiny details come through clearly. Plus, VESA DisplayHDR 600 delivers more contrast, so you can expect deeper blacks and brighter whites for even greater clarity. This is important for games with an overall dim, darker atmosphere like Resident Evil Requiem, where you need better visibility to find your way through.
Visuals also stay smooth and lag-free, thanks to a 165Hz refresh rate and near-instant response time of 1ms. With these, you can always stay on top of all that’s happening on the screen and catch movements in real time, even when you’re playing action-heavy games. Then there’s support for AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which syncs the GPU and the panel to further reduce any choppiness and screen tearing.
Another cool feature? CoreSync, which syncs the colors of your screen with the rear LED ring and projects it onto the space behind your setup! All the connectivity options are neatly placed at the back. The stand is ergonomic, so you can also tilt/adjust the screen to find a comfortable viewing position.
This gigantic monitor retails for $900, but it’s currently available for $500 on Amazon. The 44% discount saves you a whopping $400. It’s also available to all shoppers, so you don’t have to be a Prime member to take advantage of it right now. Hurry to pick yours before the price goes back up!
