Since its introduction two weeks ago in Saints Row: The Third, the game's four-foot long dildo bat—nom de guerre: "The Penetrator"—has killed more than two million citizens of Steelport, publisher THQ said in announcing a stat-tracking capability that charts all the mayhem taking place in the open-world crime game.
The two million penetrated to death represent just 0.0003 percent of the 5.8 billion served, or, rather, killed, by gamers worldwide. THQ gleefully notes that the figure represents "19 times the population of the United States [and] roughly 85 percent of the population of the world."
Of that list of victims, 44 million alone were "pimps, gimps and prostitutes, roughly twice the population of Texas." They're watching numbers small and large, too, noting that 650 hot dog mascots have been slain by flamethrower.
This was all revealed in a news release earlier today touting the new <a href="
">stats and achievement tracking available on SaintsRow.com. "Check out your stats page for a list of your most devious accomplishments, from total time surfing moving vehicles, to number of pedestrians you've run over. See how you rank against the rest of the community, or head over to a friend's profile page for a head-to-head comparison."
Further, the site will project a feed of all in-game activity onto a top-down ginormous picture map of Steelport. Gamers are encouraged to tag areas with hints for the rest of the community, too, so check it out for tips on completing missions or finding goodies.
