Today, nosy PC gamers discovered that the version of Rockstar Games' Max Payne 2 being sold through Valve's Steam service looked an awful lot like the one released by pirate group Myth. That potentially embarrassing gaffe has been corrected.
Looks like a newer (older) version of Max Payne 2 is now available through Steam. The good news is that you're no longer playing a version of the game released by a software cracking group. The bad is that the version now available through Steam is an earlier version, rolled back from 1.1.102 to 1.0.98. What, you wanna have your cake and eat it too?
