Harmonix spreads the holiday cheer next week with the release of the Rockin' the Holidays 2008 pack, containing three songs guaranteed to get very annoying at Christmas parties for ages to come.

Amping up the Christmas spirit will be Billy Squire with “Christmas is the Time To Say I Love You” and "Blue Christmas" performed by The Pretenders. For those of you looking for something a bit more Jewish in your holiday music, look no further than "Hanukkah Blessings" by The Barenaked Ladies, which is sure to provide at least 8 days of light entertainment for the whole family.

The Rockin' the Holidays 2008 pack is due out on Tuesday, December 23rd for the discount price of $2.99 (240 MS points), or $.99 (100 MS points) per song.

Are the individual tracks 100 ms points or $.99? because that's not the same thing.

Also, speaking of xmas and points, I just found out you can't gift ms points through xbox live. That is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. That should be a gimme; MS would make bank on that this holiday season. Even Nintendo has procedures in place for that on their outdated, lambasted system.

Now I have to buy a card and mail it to send a gift.
