John Hillcoat, director of The Road - and more importantly The Proposition - has helped developers Rockstar put together a 30-minute animated film machinima based on Western adventure Red Dead Redemption, which will air next month.
Aside from the fact it will run on Fox on Saturday, May 15, we know little else of the project aside from, Rockstar tells us, the fact it will be animated using in-game assets. Making it essentially the world's longest video game commercial. Only with a top-shelf director pulling the strings.
Strange!
