Level 5's latest Professor Layton puzzle-adventure, Layton Kyouju to Majin no Fue, debuts at the top of Japan's video game software sales charts, another 300,000 Nintendo DS games added to the series' impressive sales.
Professor Layton and his apprentice Luke didn't have much in the way of competition this week, with cute railroad sim Momotaro Dentetsu 2010: Sengoku Ishin no Hero Daishuugou! no Maki and Cave shoot 'em up Mushihimesama Futari Ver. 1.5 debuting closest to Layton Kyouju to Majin no Fue at spots 5 and 11, respectively.
The top ten is mostly Nintendo platform content, with bestsellers Tomodachi Collection and Pokemons Heart Gold and Soul Silver holding strong in the sales department, Wii Fit Plus backing them up.
