The New Jersey-based wrestling league Pro Wrestling Syndicate has a guy wrestling for them who goes by the name Star Man. The inspiration for his character? The star-faced character from the old Nintendo Entertainment System game Pro Wrestling (the one the "A Winner is You" meme comes from.)
Star Man isn't in the big leagues yet, so on Monday, at a big WWE "Monday Night Raw" show, he tried to get some attention. There he was in the audience, dressed in his Star Man get-up, trying to get noticed by the crowd.
Security noticed and escorted him away.
A winner is Star Man? At least in terms of generating this modicum of publicity...
