Microsoft is inviting thousands of Xbox 360 owners to help beta test the next big Xbox 360 system update, and your chance is just a modest survey away.
As they did with the New Xbox Experience last year, so Microsoft is doing with the next big system update, inviting users by the thousands to test drive the harder, better, faster, and stronger Xbox 360 dashboard before they release it to the general public. All one has to do to become eligible is to head over to the Microsoft Connect website, log in with their MSN username and password, and fill out a brief survey. You will need your Xbox 360 serial number to complete the form, so those of you eagerly clicking on the link from work might have to wait until you get home, unless that's the kind of information you keep on your person at all times.
Note that while the preview program is open to both Gold and Silver Xbox Live users, Goldies get priority, which means chances are much slimmer if you aren't paying.
