Trump’s Neck Looks Like It Needs A Green Herb

The President of the United States has a rash or is becoming a zombie, take your pick

Uh oh, folks, I think Trump might be infected with the T-Virus from Resident Evil. Someone call Leon S. Kennedy!

On Monday, President Donald Trump appeared at a Medal of Honor ceremony at the White House. And on his neck was a large red rash with peeling, bumpy skin and what looked like a small blister. Immediately after the picture was shared online by independent journalist Aaaron Rupar, people began quickly comparing the red blotch of skin to an infection from Resident Evil or The Last of Us.

This happens just days after RE9 releases. Coincidence?

Donald Trump might be out there now searching for a green herb to help fix his little zombie infection. For his sake, I hope Leon doesn’t find him infected somewhere in the White House. That didn’t work out for President Adam back in Resident Evil 6. Anyway, check out our review for the recently released Resident Evil Requiem.

Update: 3/2/26, 4:35 p.m. ET: The White House put out a statement about the rash: “President Trump is using a very common cream on the right side of his neck, which is a preventative skin treatment, prescribed by the White House Doctor. The President is using this treatment for one week, and the redness is expected to last for a few weeks.”
