If you've ever been to a fancy cocktail bar, you've probably noticed drinks served with giant spheres of ice. If you want to recreate that experience at home, it's surprisingly cheap and easy.

These Tovolo sphere molds are slightly discounted off their usual price today, and if you take pride in your drinks, they're worth every penny. $8 gets you a pair of molds, each of which turns out a perfect 2.5" ice sphere. Yes, there are molds out there that make more spheres at once (this one is pretty nice), but most of them create considerably smaller spheres. Plus, the Tovolo is Amazon's #1 seller, sports a 4.6 star review average, and can stack in your freezer to take up less space. Cheers! [Amazon]

DISCUSSION

You don't have to choose between Logitech and Razer today, we've got deals on both.

For anyone that cares (not many of you), I've been using a G700s for quite some time. It was a great upgrade from my G500 (which died) but I always felt like it was missing... something. So, after reading Shane's shining write-up of this mouse earlier this year, I decided that I had to try one of these out.

I went to my local Best Buy to click around with their sample mouse (which was very nicely placed next to a 700s, which allowed for direct comparison in the store)... Just after using it in the store I have to say that I was IMPRESSED. This thing has mechanical microswitches, so each click feels tactile and good. Each button has a clear and solid 'click' to it that just feels satisfying. It really reminds me of the feeling I get when typing on my mechanical keyboard or even using my fightstick: it feels right.

The mouse wheel is metal (no plastic) and has a good heft to it, as well as a very solid clicky scroll. Once it's set into the smooth scroll (an option I'll never be without, again), the heft of the wheel makes it go FOREVER. If you've ever quickly scrolled through a long document or webpage you will know that this is a good thing.

Of course, this is all second to what makes a mouse really good: its responsiveness and sensitivity. In that aspect, it's amazing. Very responsive, very fast, very sensitive. I can adjust my sensitivity with the click of a button (not a new feature but it's still one that I love to use, especially when I switch from a sniping role to an assault roll in Titanfall). Once again, it's really good.

While I've only been it for the last couple hours, it definitely feels like one of the best wires gaming mouses I've ever used. If you're on the fence, just do yourself a favor and get one.
