Little known fact: When I was in college I interned very briefly for a marketing and public relations company in Washington, D.C. I hated the job. It was the worst of the worst. Most of what they had me doing was driving all over Washington D.C…. at night… putting up marketing brochures… at drug stores.
The only job that was mentally more anguishing was my stint as a telemarketer. Seriously.
Anyway, today I spent a bit of time trying to grab the attention of local media for next week’s Child’s Play fundraiser here in Denver. It brought back bad, bad memories.
