The PlayStation 3's digital hang out space, PlayStation Home, will soon be home to better actual video games, thanks to the platform's next big update. Version 1.5 of Home brings promised features like real-time multiplayer, improved physics and better visuals. What else?
The official announcement goes far enough to say that "PlayStation Home v1.5 was developed with one singular goal in mind: high-quality games.... from first-person shooters with real-time, peer-to-peer multiplayer to racing games and more." We've seen some of those games, like the next version of Sodium, in action and found them pretty darn impressive.
The next PlayStation Home update, live today, will also feature "new facial building features, better furniture management, various graphical tweaks to the Navigator, improved object placement options within your personal space, increased Chat Log options" and other things longtime users might desire.
