Brace yourself because we've got a ton of deals today. Nothing fancy, just a laundry list of great discounts not only on PC, PS3, and 360, but on PS4, Xbox One, and Mac. The standout thing to grab is of course the Bioshock Triple Pack, but my personal recommendation goes to the Trine 2 Complete Story, Flower, Super Motherload Playstation 4 Bundle. Have at it.

MGLS - FuckItAll℞ Part 1

Instead of pre-ordering a next gen console, I instead upgraded my video card on my PC. Going from a 560ti to a 770 was a nice big jump. I love it. I also upgraded my pc case and improved my CPU cooler. All great super things.

The problem is that was all just an incremental update. I'm looking for something new. There is still the void that's a "new generation console" sized hole. It's crazy, I understand that, but that doesn't change the situation.

I can't even get my grubby mits on an X1 controller yet and even then, Microsoft doesn't have any drivers offered yet to take advantage of it. I personally think it would be neat if I could make Windows 8 feel even more like the X1 since the interfaces are so similar but regardless of what the naysayers squawk about, Metro on the PC is only skin deep. And there is no Kinect intergration yet, despite me not being thrilled about the Kinect, if that makes any sense.

There simply isn't anything new to explore and I think I'm feeling a little jealousy for those with new consoles. I know the high doesn't last long, but still is nice. The glorious PC race is still glorious and on high in a lot of ways, but that unboxing, setting up for the first time, and exploring has a nice feel to it.

Meh, I say. MEH.
