The studio behind Zen Pinball and Pinball FX takes the ball out of the table and onto the green with Planet MiniGolf, coming this spring to the PlayStation Network.
Zen Studios knows how balls work. The developer has proven this with two stellar pinball games for Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network, and now they're betting their ball-savvy in an all-new game. The PlayStation Network exclusive Planet MiniGolf allows players to take on 140 holes of windmill-spinning mini-golf alone or online with friends, with worldwide tournament play and global leaderboards keeping international relations tense.
Even better, the game comes packed with a course editor, where players can create the most ridiculous holes imaginable, sharing them online with the world.
"Just as we have delivered the ultimate pinball experience with ZEN Pinball, Planet MiniGolf will serve as the ultimate arcade golfing experience on the PlayStation Network," said Zsolt Kigyossy, managing director of ZEN Studios. "Planet MiniGolf gives casual players and golfing aficionados alike everything they could ask for in a golf game, with wacky courses, character customization, custom course builder and global competitions."
How will Zen handle the move from enclosed pinball tables to sprawling, obstacle filled mini-golf? We'll find out this spring, when Planet MiniGolf opens for business.
