Unknown Worlds, creators of Natural Selection were at PAX East this year.

It was their first experience at PAX, and with that comes a lot of lessons. A bunch of programmers had to play carpenter that weekend to set up their presentation booth before a rush of gamers came to try their games.

In the video above, they share their experiences of building a booth from scratch, while big-name publishers come equipped with fancy sculptures and big statues at their left and right.

They also explain why the morning onslaught of PAX goers was the worst part of the convention, and the rush they felt when getting a chance to sit back and get players excited about their game, Natural Selection 2. It's an inspiring story, as well as an incredibly interesting one.

I've always wondered what it's like to be on the opposite side of that fence, having only seen the tip of the iceberg that makes up a large-scale convention experience. Well, now I know that much more.

It's a little long, but it's worth the watch.
