Old Man’s Journey is an adventure game about shifting painterly landscapes to solve puzzles. Its story focuses on themes of life, loss, and hope, and it’s being developed by a studio that helped make games like And Yet it Moves, Secrets of Raetikon, and Guacamelee. It’ll be out sometime this year.

Its story focuses on themes of life, loss, and hope...

I wish developers would be a little more subtle when talking about story driven games like these. The premise alone should be enough of a hook. Talking about themes preemptively during first impressions spoils some of the magic.
