Obsidian’s sci-fi role-playing game The Outer Worlds will finally come to Switch on June 5. The port was originally slated to arrive back on March 6 but was delayed due to shutdowns in China over the spread of the Covid-19 coronavirus. The game will have a 6GB day-one patch.

DISCUSSION

I’ve been playing this through Xbox Game Pass for PC and have been enjoying it way more than I expected. I didn’t go into it with any of the Fallout nostalgia or expectations so I’m just liking it for what it is. I’m wondering how well the Switch will handle it, but if they can keep the style without sacrificing too much then the story and gameplay clearly won’t suffer.
