In addition to announcing the release date for Super Smash Bros. Wii U, Nintendo revealed official sales data for the 3DS version of the popular fighting game. After only a few days in the US and a couple of weeks in Japan, Smash Bros. 3DS has sold more than 2.8 million copies. Those aren't Call of Duty or Grand Theft Auto numbers, but they're definitely up there.
