Adult Japanese computer games tend to feature young women. Not all of them do, though. Why here is one that features a 71-year-old granny. And tentacles. Oh dear.
Erotic PC game "Cthulhu ~ Great Hunting ~", which was released late last week, features the scene with a senior in the throes of ecstasy.
Those posting on Japanese online bulletin board 2ch have been quick to point out that the 71-year-old granny in the scene looks like a 71-year-old granny. There hasn't been an effort to make her look younger.
Tentacles in Japanese adult games (and by extension erotic art) is not new. There is a long history of it. In the early 19th century, woodblock printmaker Hokusai, one of the giants of traditional Japanese art, depicted an octopus and a woman engaging in intercourse.
The motif has appeared in countless works and has even reached the point of parody in the West when describing the depiction of sex in Japan.
