In summer 2008, Xbox Taiwan announced that Final Fantasy XIII would be getting an Xbox 360 "Asia" version. Microsoft clarified that "announcement", and then further clarified that clarification.
So in 2008, Final Fantasy XIII wasn't getting an Asia version, and a new report confirms that it won't be getting one in 2010, too.
Localized Asia versions with original voice tracks are sold in territories outside Japan like, for example, Taiwan or Singapore, but are able to run on Japanese Xbox 360 consoles. In Japan, Square Enix role-playing game Final Fantasy XIII was released only on the PlayStation 3.
In the West, the game will be released on the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360.
According to Xbox Singapore, 'Square Enix has not announced the availability of an Asian version of FFXIII.' Asian gamers either must import the Japanese PS3 version or either the PS3 or the Xbox 360 Western versions.
