As has been rumored for a few weeks now, there is indeed a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, as confirmed in the Nintendo Today app this morning. It will take place Tuesday, June 9, at 8am PT/11am ET, and will last a whopping 50 minutes, followed by a 95-minute Nintendo Treehouse segment. That’s pretty long! It’ll be live here when the time comes.

What will we see? Who knows? Rumor has it there’s still a The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake yet to be announced for this year. We still need a release date on Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. And there are likely still a few surprises left in Nintendo’s bag of tricks, most of them likely coming for Switch 2. When are we getting a new 3D Mario game, anyway?

We should also probably brace ourselves for at least a few of the trailers to be rehashes or “more details” on stuff we’ve already seen this weekend at Summer Game Fest and the Xbox Showcase, so set your expectations accordingly. Also, Nintendo already has Splatoon Raiders, Rhythm Heaven Groove, and Star Fox on the docket for the coming months, so we may get some new footage for some or all of those games.

I’m personally hoping for two things: a Deltarune Chapter 5 release date, and Pokopia DLC. I think both of those things actually have a pretty decent shot at happening, so if you hear screaming coming somewhere from the middle of the U.S. when one of those things gets announced, don’t freak out, it’s just me.

Tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct has been a part of the rumor mill for a few weeks now as a closing bookend to the annual E3 replacement showcase series, though it also isn’t much of a shock as Nintendo tends to hold a Direct annually this time of year anyway.
