The folks over at Prima Games have released an app for iPhone and iPad that allows you to explore and interact with Skyrim's entire map, developer Bethesda said today on its blog.
Unlike Dragon Shout, the independently-created Skyrim map released last fall for iOS, this map will not be entirely free. Though you can snag the world map and the 9 capital cities without paying a cent, you'll have to pony up for "over 160 interior maps, over 350 primary locations, 200 secondary locations and over 1,000 points of interest," Prima says.
In other words, it's a free-to-view model. Soon to come, the free-to-eat food model complete with a small fee every time you want to digest. And the free-to-breathe model, featuring microtransactions in case you want to breathe for longer than 30 seconds.
